Selected Declarations Lists all declarations, (for that Customs office), with a current status of 'selected'. This list displays all  declarations  selected  by  the  System,  (either  through  a  random  selection  or  against  specific Customs initiated selection criteria), and routed to the 'Red', 'Yellow' or 'Blue' Lanes. The window option buttons ‘View  Decln.’ ‘Criteria’, ‘Find’ and   ‘Print’  enable the user to find and view the details of individual declarations, and to view the reasons for the 'selected' status of that declaration.                Fig 3.6  MODCBR: Verification\Selectivity: Examination Result: Selected declarations -all: Criteria The  example  screen  above  is  the  ’Examination  results’  option,  and  it  doesn’t  allow  re-routing  of declarations.   The   details   of   a   selected   declaration   can   be   viewed   and   the   selection   criteria displayed. In this case the highlighted declaration is a random selection. Physical Examination – Red Lane A  selected  status  of  'Red'  for  a  declaration  means  that  the  declaration  has  been  selected  for physical  examination  of  the  goods.  This  option  displays  a  list  of  all  declarations  selected,  (either through  a  random  selection  or  against  specific  Customs  initiated  selection  criteria),  routed  to  the 'Red' Lane for processing. Documentary Check – Yellow Lane A  selected  status  of  'Yellow'  for  a  declaration  means  that  the  declaration  has  been  selected  for documentary examination of the transaction. This option displays a list of all declarations selected, (either through a random selection or against specific Customs initiated selection criteria), routed to the 'Yellow' Lane for processing. Post Clearance Control – Blue Lane A  selected  status  of  'Blue'  for  a  declaration  means  that  the  declaration  has  been  selected  for Customs   attention   or   some   control   (such   as   a   post-importation   documentary   check)   after assessment   of   the   declaration   and   release   of   the   goods.   This   option   displays   a   list   of   all declarations  selected,  (either  through  a  random  selection  or  against  specific  Customs  initiated selection criteria), routed to the 'Blue' Lane for processing.
