IE Tools for Validating XML and Viewing XSLT Output

Currently, when browsing XML files using IE, the XML documents are not validated.  In addition, when viewing the source of the document, only the XML is returned and there is no way of viewing the output from the XSLT stylesheet that may have been used to transform that XML document.

The following files enable validation of an XML document browsed in IE and the viewing of the XSLT output displayed in the browser:

msxmlval.htm
msxmlval.inf
msxmlvw.htm
msxmlvw.inf

By installing these files, entries will be added to the drop down menu when you right click on the browser window.  These entries will provide the following options:

Validate XML
View XSL Output

Installation Instructions

1. Navigate to the directory containing the above files.
2. Right click on each of the inf files and select the menu option "Install".

The entries should now be added to the appropriate drop down menu.
